Frosty Peach Bread

Total Time: 1 hr 20 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 (16 ounce) can canned peaches, drained, liquid reserved, 1 tbl
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • glaze
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon reserved peach juice
  • 1 teaspoon corn syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease loaf pan.
  • 2 cream together butter, sugar and brown sugar until fluffy.
  • 3 chop peaches and stir into the butter and sugar mixture.
  • 4 add remaining ingredients. mix well.
  • 5 pour into pan and bake for 60 to 70 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
  • 6 remove from oven and cool for 10 minutes.
  • 7 remove loaf from pan.
  • 8 cool completely on wire rack.
  • 9 when cooled, spread glaze over it.
