Oatmeal Cookies: New - Super Nutritious And Tastety Too!

Total Time: 32 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 12 mins

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup craisins
  • 1 cup granola cereal
  • 8 ounces whole grain cereal (i use total, slightly crushed)
  • 1/2 cup almonds
  • 1/4 cup flax seed
  • 1/4 cup wheat germ
  • 1/3 cup coconut (shredded)
  • 1/2 cup powdered milk
  • 1 banana
  • 1/3 cup molasses
  • 1/3 cup peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup toffee pieces
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 1/3 cup coconut oil
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 cup egg
  • 1/2 cup wheat flour
  • 3/4 cup rye flour
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 2 cups oatmeal

Recipe

  • 1 crush total cereal.
  • 2 mash ripe banana.
  • 3 grind flax seeds in a coffee grinder.
  • 4 melt butter.
  • 5 mix all ingredients leaving dry quick oats and flour for last.
  • 6 spoon onto cookie sheet in approximately a 1 1/2 inch ball (no rolling or shaping required) and these will not spead so you'll have room for nearly double the amount on an average cookie sheet).
  • 7 bake approximately 12 minutes in a 350 degree oven.
  • 8 let sit while next cookie sheet is being loaded then remove to a large plate to cool.
  • 9 eat! freeze! enjoy!
  • 10 (pictures to follow although they do look very similar to my other oatmeal cookies just much more nutritious!).
