Coffee Chip Cake

Ingredients

• 1 1/2 cups flour
• 3/4 cup sugar
• 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
• 3/4 cup coffee
• 1/3 cup shortening
• 1 egg
• 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
• 1/2 cup chocolate chips
• powdered sugar

Recipe

• 1 pre-heat oven to 375 degrees.
• 2 in a large bowl, mix the first seven ingredients until well-blended.
• 3 mix in the chocolate chips.
• 4 grease a 9 x 9 x 2 inch baking dish.
• 5 pour in the batter and bake for 25-30 minutes.
• 6 dust with powdered sugar and serve.
