Irish Coffee Cream Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown sugar, golden
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 1/2 cups coffee, freshly brewed
  • 1/4 cup irish cream, liqueur

Recipe

  • 1 in a small saucepan over medium heat, bring the sugar and water to a boil, whisking constantly. cook for 3 - 5 minutes or until mixture is syrupy.
  • 2 whisk in the coffee and cook 3 - 5 more minutes or until the sauce thickens.
  • 3 remove from heat and stir in the liqueur.
  • 4 serve hot over any dessert.
