Pear Pistachio And Chocolate Cake

Ingredients
- 150 g flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 150 g caster sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 150 g unsalted butter, softened
- 3 eggs
- 200 g dark chocolate, chopped
- 1 pear, peeled cored and diced
- 3/4 cup pistachio nut
- 1 orange, zest of, finely chopped
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 180 degrees celcius.
- 2 grease and flour loaf tin.
- 3 put flour, baking powder, sugar, salt, butter and eggs in food processor.
- 4 blend until just combined. (do not over blend).
- 5 transfer to mixing bowl. stir in chocolate, pear, pistachios and orange zest.
- 6 pour mixture into loaf tin.
- 7 bake 60 minutes or until skewer inserted coes out clean.
- 8 allow to cool for a few minutes then turn onto cake rack to cool.
