Pear Ginger Toddies

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 2 cups pear nectar
- 4 whole cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/8 teaspoon grated fresh nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon maple syrup
- 3 ounces spiced rum
Recipe
- 1 combine pear nectar, cloves, ginger, nutmeg, and syrup in a saucepan; bring to a simmer over med-high heat.
- 2 decrease heat to medium and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 3 remove from heat; pour into 4 irish coffee glasses, and add ¾ ounce of rum to each glass.
- 4 remove the cloves; garnish with candied ginger skewers, and serve.
