Mocha Upside Down Cake

Ingredients

- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 cup flour
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 (1 ounce) unsweetened chocolate square
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 4 tablespoons cocoa
- 1 cup cold strong coffee
Recipe
- 1 mix & sift together the first four ingredients.
- 2 melt together the chocolate and butter, blend in the milk & vanilla.
- 3 stir into dry ingredients and pour into 8" pan.
- 4 combine sugars & cocoa, sprinkle over batter.
- 5 pour coffee on top and bake at 350 for 40 minutes.
- 6 serve hot from the oven, with vanilla soft ice cream!
