Mocha Sherbet

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups strongly brewed coffee or 2 1/4 cups espresso
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 6 tablespoons unsweetened dutch cocoa
  • salt, a pinch
  • 3/4 cup whole milk

Recipe

  • 1 whisk together the coffee, sugar, cocoa powder, and salt in a large saucepan.
  • 2 bring the mixture to a boil and allow it to boil for 30 seconds, whisking constantly.
  • 3 remove from the heat and stir in the milk.
  • 4 chill the mixture thoroughly, then freeze it in your ice cream maker according to the manufacturer's directions.
