Miss Helen's Coffee Cake

Ingredients

• Servings: 10
• 1/3 cup flour
• 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1 egg
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 cup milk
• 2 1/2 cups flour
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 2 teaspoons baking powder, heaped
• 1/4 lb butter

Recipe

• 1 cut stick of butter in half length-wise, then cut each half in half lengthwise, to make 4 long pieces.
• 2 cut 4 pieces into cubes and keep cold.
• 3 mix topping and set aside.
• 4 mix batter ingredients.
• 5 spread stiff batter into buttered 9x13 baking dish.
• 6 push butter cubes into batter.
• 7 pour topping evenly over batter.
• 8 bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes, until inserted knife comes out clean.
