Old-fashioned Peach Cake

Total Time: 55 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 package cake mix
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • 1 (21 ounce) can peach pie filling
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon extract
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350.
  • 2 combine first 7 ingredients in a large mixer bowl.
  • 3 blend at low speed til moistened.
  • 4 beat 2 minutes and medium.
  • 5 spread into a greased and floured 13x9 pan.
  • 6 combine remaining ingredients, sugar, flour and butter, in a bowl with a fork until crumbly.
  • 7 sprinkle over the batter.
  • 8 bake at 350 for 40-50 minutes until center springs back when touched.
  • 9 serve slightly warm, with whipped cream.
