Homemade Kahlua

Ingredients

• 4 cups water
• 4 cups sugar
• 2 ounces instant coffee
• 750 ml vodka
• 1 whole vanilla bean

Recipe

• 1 boil water, add coffee and blend till dissolved.
• 2 add sugar and stir till dissolved.
• 3 add vodka and remove from heat.
• 4 cut vanilla bean in fourths and place in a gallon glass jug.
• 5 add coffee mixture and store for 4 weeks, tightly covered.
• 6 after 4 weeks, pour kahlua from jug into bottles.
• 7 store tightly covered.
• 8 serve as desired.
