One Apple Coffee Cake

Ingredients

• 3 large eggs
• 1 cup sugar
• 2 1/2 cups flour
• 3/4 cup applesauce
• 1 cup butter
• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 2 apples, peeled, cored and sliced
• 1/2 cup raisins

Recipe

• 1 prehear oven to 350 deg.
• 2 grease a 9 by 13 inches baking dish.(i used glass).
• 3 beat eggs,sugar,butter,vanilla & apple sauce in lge.bowl with mixer on med. spd. until well blended. add flour,cinnamon,baking soda and salt gradually & mix until well blended.
• 4 stir in raisins.
• 5 spread batter evenly in pan.push apple wedges into batter in three rows lengthwise-not touching.
• 6 bake for 35 minute or until toothpick inserted in middle come out clean.
