Mexican Style Yogurt Dip

Total Time: 5 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 cups dannon plain nonfat yogurt
  • 1 cup prepared salsa
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro leaves (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 in a small bowl combine yogurt and salsa.
  • 2 mix well.
  • 3 spoon the yogurt mixture into a strainer lined with a coffee filter.
  • 4 place a bowl under the strainer to catch the liquid (whey) that drains off.
  • 5 cover and refrigerate 12 hours
  • 6 discard liquid.
  • 7 add cilantro.
  • 8 mix well.
  • 9 add salt and pepper to taste.
