Quick Cinnamon Coffee Cake

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 35 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup vanilla sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 3/4 cup pecans, chopped

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350°f
  • 2 grease and sugar 8" or 9" square pan.
  • 3 in a medium size bowl, cream the sugaqr and butter.
  • 4 beat in the egg.
  • 5 in a small bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon.
  • 6 add the flour mixture and the milk to the butter mixture, alternating each one.
  • 7 blend thouroughly after each addition.
  • 8 combine all of hthe streusal topping ingredients in a small bowl and stir until blended.
  • 9 by hand, stir half of the streusal topping into the batter. spread the batter into the pan.
  • 10 smooth the top of the dough and sprinkle on hte remaining streusal topping.
  • 11 bake in oven for 35-40 minutes.
  • 12 let rest for around 10 minutes before serving.
