Peanut Butter Chocolate Cake

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2/3 cup baking cocoa
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup brewed coffee, room temp
  • 3 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 cups confectioners' sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • miniature semisweet chocolate chips

Recipe

  • 1 in a mixing bowl, combine dry ingredients.
  • 2 add eggs, milk, oil and vanilla.
  • 3 beat for 2 minutes.
  • 4 stir in coffee, (batter will be thin).
  • 5 pour into a greased 9x13 inch baking pan.
  • 6 bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
  • 7 cool completely on a wire rack.
  • 8 frosting:.
  • 9 beat the cream cheese and peanut butter in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  • 10 beat in sugar, milk and vanilla.
  • 11 spread over cake.
  • 12 sprinkle with chocolates chips.
  • 13 store in refrigerator.
