Homemade Kahlua

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

• 2 cups boiling water
• 4 cups sugar
• 1/2 cup instant coffee
• 2 teaspoons vanilla
• 2 cups vodka

Recipe

• 1 dissolve the coffee in the boiling water.
• 2 add the sugar and simmer for 20 minutes.
• 3 allow to cool completely to room temperature.
• 4 add the vanilla and the vodka and mix thoroughly.
• 5 store in the refrigerator in a bottle or a pitcher with a tight fitting lid (i keep mine in a lock & lock pitcher).
