- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup molasses
- 2 cups sour milk
- 1 cup raisins
Recipe
- 1 in a large bowl mix the first five ingredients.
- 2 then stir in the rest.
- 3 divide between two 1-pound greased coffee cans.
- 4 cover top of can with foil or wax paper and steam for 3 hours.
- 5 serve warm with butter.
