Frozen Chocolate Mousse

Ingredients
- Servings: 12
- 1 (6 ounce) package chocolate chips
- 1/3 cup strong coffee, hot
- 2 tablespoons rum or 2 tablespoons brandy
- 4 eggs, separated
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup whipping cream
Recipe
- 1 in a blender, combine chocolate chips and very hot coffee.
- 2 blend until melted and smooth.
- 3 add rum or brandy.
- 4 add egg yolks and blend 30 seconds.
- 5 beat whites to soft peaks. gradually add sugar, beating into stiff peaks.
- 6 fold into chocolate mixture.
- 7 whip cream and fold into chocolate mixture.
- 8 pour in prepared dishes or paper baking cups set in muffin tins. freeze until firm.
