French Chocolate Sauce

Ingredients
- 8 ounces semisweet chocolate, coarsely chopped
- 1/2 cup strong hot coffee
- 1/2 cup apricot preserves, strained
- 1 tablespoon fruit liqueur (optional)
Recipe
- 1 put all ingredients in the top of a double boiler over simmering water. stir constantly with a wooden spoon until completely melted and well-blended.
- 2 transfer to a glass bowl and top with plastic wrap so a skin doesn't form.
- 3 refrigerate. serve hot or cold.
