French Chocolate Sauce

Total Time: 10 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces semisweet chocolate, coarsely chopped
  • 1/2 cup strong hot coffee
  • 1/2 cup apricot preserves, strained
  • 1 tablespoon fruit liqueur (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 put all ingredients in the top of a double boiler over simmering water. stir constantly with a wooden spoon until completely melted and well-blended.
  • 2 transfer to a glass bowl and top with plastic wrap so a skin doesn't form.
  • 3 refrigerate. serve hot or cold.
