Ingredients
- 3/4 cup basil, chopped and firmly-packed
- 1 pint red wine vinegar
Recipe
- 1 wash and pat dry the basil.
- 2 fill a wide-mouthed jar with the herbs.
- 3 add the vinegar to the jar.
- 4 cap jar and place in a warm spot out of direct light for at least 2 weeks.
- 5 when the desired strength is reached, line a funnel with a coffee filter and pour the finished vinegar through the funnel into a pretty and appropriate bottle.
