Pie Filling Coffee Cake

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 egg
  • milk
  • 1 (21 ounce) can pie filling
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350°f.
  • 2 combine 2 cups flour, 1 cup sugar, 1/2 cup butter, 2 teaspoons baking powder.
  • 3 place egg into measuring cup and add enough milk to measure 1 cup.
  • 4 add to other ingredients and mix until combined.
  • 5 pour into 9x13-inch pan.
  • 6 spread pie filling over top of batter.
  • 7 combine remaining 1 cup flour, 1 cup sugar, and 1/2 cup melted butter until crumbly.
  • 8 sprinkle over coffee cake.
  • 9 bake at 350°f for 40-50 minutes.
  • 10 this is best eaten the day it is made.
  • 11 refrigerate leftovers.
