Masala Coffee (spiced Coffee)

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 3 cups milk
  • 5 cardamom pods
  • 3 cups water
  • 6 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 cinnamon stick (1-in long)
  • 6 tablespoons coffee, regular grind

Recipe

  • 1 combine water and milk in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
  • 2 add cinnamon, cardamom pods, sugar and coffee into boiling liquid in saucepan.
  • 3 stir a few times and boil over medium heat 3 to 4 minutes.
  • 4 make sure it does not boil over.
  • 5 strain coffee through cheesecloth into another pan.
  • 6 place coffee over heat and bring to a boil.
  • 7 pour coffee between two pans until thick and creamy.
  • 8 serve in cups immediately.
